Kee Patterbee

Noted for her rich story construction and excellent detailed plots, Kee Patterbee's mystery writing centers on traditional female detective tropes but with original, modern twists. She produces protagonists that are a nod to the noir private eyes while avoiding the trappings found in much of modern private eye fiction.\n\t\nKee Patterbee is a writer and educator who works with college students helping them tell their stories on film.\n\nKee believes that there are no limits when it comes to intellectual pursuits. Therefore, she is ever in a quest for “the next level” in her education. At present, she holds several advanced degrees from various institutions. Areas of interest include history, creative writing, filmmaking, playwriting, philosophy, education, art, and communications.\n\nKee has worked as actor and chairperson for an outdoor Shakespearean acting troupe, a playwright, a director, a screenwriter, and a secret agent woman (To be honest, she made the last one up).\n\nKee is a published author of poetry, non-fiction, children’s works, and of course, fiction under various nom de plumes.\n\nKee lives with her husband Joe, three cats (Beckett, Mr. Castle, and Ghostie) and two Yorkies (Zippy and Doodles) in the stranger parts of Georgia. When not writing, they are in pursuit of roadside attractions, spooky places, chicken wings and the perfect chili cheese dog with slaw and a side of onion rings.
